Light Sciences Oncology is developing Light Infusion Therapy (LitxÔ), an innovative light-activated treatment for solid tumors. LSO is currently developing LitxÔ for the treatment of patients with cancers such as hepatoma, metastatic colorectal cancer and glioma, for which the current therapeutic alternatives are of limited efficacy. LitxÔ has been designed to be used repeatedly throughout a patient’s life as needed. LSO’s goal is to enable physicians to use LitxÔ to treat cancer as a chronic disease. Investigators in our Phase III trial for hepatoma intend to continue treating patients under our protocols and to begin incorporating data from these treatments in the Phase III data ( www.lsoncology.com )
